Does the film really portrays the truck artists as gays???

I do not agree to this idea of considering those people as gays, because the way they stood stalking Saifi from behind( while he was standing on the stool) is a very normal way the street people stand with each other while talking frankly or trying to tease anyone. Furthermore, there is no point to show them as a member of the gay community in the film because if they were, they would also be facing the same problems which Saifi faced because they are also in as much exile as Khwaja Sara(Saifi) are, from the society. The film never discusses them again in any scene which may describe their importance in the film.So the scene in which there is a slight depiction that those people are gay can either be a mistake or they are bi-sexual.But in either of the conditions they could never feel so comfortable with all those people at their work place. Moreover there are so many examples in which we see men satisfying their need, actually desperation, by making the other men the victim of their lust.
