Missing Feeling in Sahib e karamat

One thing i found missing in the story was the feeling of a father. The character of a father is usually a symbol of protection and care and an ultimate safety for a daughter.But as the story proceeded these feelings were vanishing.At the begining the narrator describes Mojo's feelings about his daughter, he is worried.But right after the arrival of the Moulvi, he completely turns into a new man who is just a slave of his own desires(wants his wife back mainly due to his sexual needs). He can' t see the discomfort of his daughter while sitting besides the Moulvi,he left her daughter alone with the Moulvi. On the whole, i found his character to be so low that he put her daughter on stake to get his wife back in his life.
